Well, you can’t really make money from farting – not real ones at least. But a clever chap in the states recently raked in almost $30,000 USD in one day by selling his ‘iFart‘ application for the Apple iPhone. Clever boy. But such a stupidly simple idea. And on which exact one day in 2008 did the developer Joel Comm make the equivalent of a years salary for some? Yup, Christmas day. Looks like the days of the whoopee cushion inside the Christmas cracker are numbered if the iPhone’s soaring sales and apps such as this are anything to go by.
