Screenclick.com finally listen to customers and drop Silverlight requirement

by Hugh on January 30, 2009

Some time ago I expressed my anger at Screenclick from an affiliates point of view, as they’d changed their site to incorporate Microsoft Silverlight but it was pretty much a requirement to use some controls on the site, and slightly offputting to the user.  Finally, they’ve managed to see the light (pardon the pun!) and integrate Silverlight as an optional extra, and in a more subtle fashion.  They’ve also dropped the pointless spash page on the site, bringing users direct to the action – the DVDs they’re renting.

So, without further ado – well done Screenclick for finally listening to your customers!  Hopefully next time they’ll take constructive criticism on the chin and respond in the best way – by listening and acting.

On that note, Screenclick have a selection of Blu-Ray DVDs to rent, but they’re hard to get to.  Screenclick need to create a link to their selection of Blu-Ray DVDs, so to help them (and you if you’re a customer of theirs), here’s the link.
